Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before sitting at the table.
Gameplay & Experience
I have never played D&D before. Can I still join?
Absolutely! I love teaching new players. You don't need to memorize any rulebooks. I provide full onboarding, help you build your first character, and gently guide you through the mechanics as we play.
What tools do we use to play online?
We use Discord for voice and community, and Foundry VTT hosted on The Forge for our virtual tabletop. I have heavily customized my Foundry setup with premium modules for full automation, dynamic lighting, and seamless combat tracking to provide the smoothest, most professional experience possible.
Do you run custom worlds or official modules?
Currently, my public campaigns focus on official modules, but I heavily tailor them! I rewrite sections to fix notorious plot holes and rebalance "meatgrinder" encounters to prevent unfair TPKs. Most importantly, I weave your character's backstory directly into the main plot, and introduce unique custom mechanics like stress systems, madness tables, and tavern minigames.
Where do you run your games? (Online vs In-Person)
My weekly public campaigns are run entirely online. However, for Corporate Team Building and Private Events, I am available to travel in-person across Northern Italy (Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy), France, and select European locations (travel and accommodation must be covered by the client).
Logistics & Booking
Do I need to buy books, assets, or premium accounts?
No! My games are entirely all-inclusive. Once you pay for your seat, there are zero hidden fees. I provide access to all the necessary rulebooks, premium character creation tools, custom tokens, and maps. You just need a free Discord account and a web browser.
How do payments work for weekly campaigns?
Your seat is secured via a weekly subscription handled entirely by Stripe. I do not store or see your credit card data. Through Stripe's secure player portal, you can easily update your payment method or cancel your subscription at any time.
What happens if I have to miss a session?
Life happens! If you give me at least 24 hours' notice, your subscription for that week will be credited to the next session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are charged as normal to protect my prep time and the table's schedule. You can read the full breakdown on my Terms & Policies page.
Corporate & Private Events
My friends and I want to hire you for a private campaign. Can we pick the module?
Yes! If you are booking a private group, you can request any module you like. Because I extensively prep my games, I typically require about one month's notice to read, learn, and build the module in Foundry. Payment is required upfront to secure your spot on my calendar and trigger the prep phase.
How does Corporate Team Building work? Do my employees need to know the rules?
Not at all. Corporate sessions are highly streamlined and designed specifically for beginners. The focus is entirely on collaborative problem-solving, strategic resource management, and communication. I handle all the math and rules behind the scenes so your team can focus on working together to overcome the scenario.
What is the ideal team size for a corporate session?
The sweet spot for a highly engaging tabletop experience is 4 to 6 players. This ensures every employee gets a chance to speak, lead, and contribute to the team's success without getting lost in a crowd. For larger teams, we can schedule a series of connected, sequential sessions!
